Well designed. Made in the USA! This is not like most of the cheap junk elsewhere. Clarity is excellent. Good mounting options. The ratcheting bracket can be adjusted by swapping the brackets. They are made of tempered spring aluminum and hold very well with Velcro straps for a more secure fit but not needed. The brackets can also be adjusted for tension with a set screw if needed. Works both day and night to greatly reduce the obnoxious glare from oncoming headlights and setting sun so that you don’t have to use the cars visor and block part of your vision. Folds up nicely when not in use although I leave mine down most of the time as even some car headlights are so bright during the day, they can be overwhelming. I can only see this product gaining popularity as a necessity in todays driving. I am a multiple purchaser of this for family members. As other folks see it, they also want it.

I have several pair of polarized eye glasses which I checked againest the visor
(rotated the axes‰ЫУand they turn very evenly dark). I also checked the visor against a very expensive new pair of polarized eye glasses. To my surprise my eye glasses were not POLARIZED. Returned the eye glasses for a refund!!!

Definetely Polarized—Fits well on my visor even with my radar detector.

I need an extension of my visor that blocks the sun completely. This helps, but since is polarized plastic, it still lets the sun in my eyes. I am going to cover it with something so that it is opaque.
